WE UNDERSTAND THE UNIQUE NEEDS OF BUSY PASTORS WHO DESIRE FURTHER EQUIPPING.
We strive to provide quality online education to fit those actively serving in ministry.
HOW DOES GRACE COMMUNION SEMINARY EQUIP THE BUSY PASTOR?
1 – Grounded on Incarnational Trinitarian theology: We strive to deliver education programs in biblical, theological, ministerial and pastoral studies that are informed by Incarnational Trinitarian faith. This theological foundation grounds our educational offerings in the Person of Christ, who is proclaimed throughout the rich and robust tradition of the Christian church. Our goal is to remain Christ-centered, biblically accurate and historically faithful to the apostles’ witness. In this way the seminary remains devoted to core Christian teaching that unites the church in Christ.
2 – Designed for working pastors: Pastors who are actively serving in churches may not be able to leave their ministries to attend a residential seminary. Our programs are fully equipped for full-time students but are specifically designed to accommodate part-time students already involved in ministry. This adds a depth of pastoral experience to enrich student-to-student sharing along with the quality instruction received.
3 – Conducted entirely online: By offering quality online graduate-level education programs, we can help students faithfully seek to know further the Lord they serve while remaining available to serve others in his name. Our online platform enables affordable education while creating flexibility for those serving in local congregations. Online courses also allow for a rich international student body to broaden the educational experience.

Grace Communion Seminary is committed to Paul’s vision of “equipping the saints for the work of ministry” in order to “build up the body of Christ.” With this goal in mind, we strive to serve laypersons, pastors and those seeking to discern their calling. We are committed to providing quality educational opportunities in the areas of biblical studies, theology and ministry.
The challenges of Christian ministry are great. But when people of faith work together to seek understanding of God’s revelation in Jesus Christ according to Scripture—and do so in a disciplined and sustained way that our courses provide— we have seen evidence of God’s faithfulness to grow and mature his people. We see persons enabled by the grace of God to share more fully, peacefully, and joyfully in Christ’s continuing ministry. Whether through our continuing education series of master’s level courses or in one of our three master’s degree programs, all are designed to nurture our faith, hope, and love for God through Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit.
This Christ-centered and trinitarian foundation undergirds and strengthens all our endeavors to live and share the gospel in our churches and surrounding communities. It binds together head and heart, understanding and worship, love for God and love for neighbor. May our Triune God lead you as you consider becoming a part of GCS.
